Solar PV Designer\n\nLocation: Nottingham, Poole based applicants also considered \n Salary: Circa £55,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits\n Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time\n\nAbout the Role\n\nA well established organisation within the construction and renewable energy sector is looking for an experienced Solar PV Designer to support increasing demand across commercial solar projects.\n\nThis position will focus primarily on the design and technical delivery of Solar PV installations, while also supporting clients, site surveys, and installation teams throughout projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign commercial rooftop Solar PV systems using PVSol or similar design software\nAttend site visits and assist with technical surveys\nWork closely with clients to discuss project requirements and provide technical guidance\nProvide technical support to internal teams and customers\nSupport Solar PV project coordination and contract administration activities\nAssist with overseeing installation teams where required\nStay informed on industry developments, standards, and emerging Solar PV technologies\n\nEssential Requirements\n\nElectrical qualifications including 18th Edition\nRecognised Level 3 Solar PV qualification or equivalent\nProven Solar PV design experience\nExperience using PVSol or similar Solar PV design platforms\nStrong IT and Microsoft Office skills\nFull UK driving licence\nAbility to obtain or hold an Enhanced DBS certificate\n\nDesirable Experience\n\nCommercial rooftop Solar PV project experience\nProject coordination or project management exposure\nTechnical sales or customer-facing experience\nKnowledge of AutoCAD or similar software\n\nPackage & Benefits\n\nCompetitive salary circa £55,000\nCompany vehicle\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays\nPension scheme and private healthcare\nBonus opportunities\nOngoing training and career development support\nLong-term opportunity within a growing renewable energy businessApply now to find out more!\n\nTJCOM
