We are seeking a Nursing Sister to join our dedicated clinical team, delivering high-quality care within a 24-hour service. This role offers the opportunity to work in a varied and rewarding environment, supporting pupils with both immediate healthcare needs and longer-term wellbeing. You will provide responsive and professional nursing care, assess and prioritise clinical needs, and contribute to a safe and supportive setting for pupils, staff and visitors. Contracted for 30.75 hours per week over 33 weeks per year on a shift rota covering days and nights.
Working closely with colleagues across the Health Centre and wider pastoral network, you will help ensure continuity of care and clear communication with families and external healthcare professionals. The role also includes supporting health promotion initiatives and contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to pupil welfare. Flexibility and sound clinical judgement are essential, as the service operates across a rota that includes evenings, weekends and on-call support.
This position would suit a registered nurse who brings professionalism, compassion and strong decision-making skills, along with a genuine commitment to supporting young people in a school environment. You will be confident working both independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards of clinical practice and safeguarding awareness at all times.
