Essential Criteria

Experience in the following technical disciplines;

Finite Element Analysis (preferably Abaqus)
Fatigue and fracture assessment (preferably using Abaqus and R6 code)
Stress analysis by hand calculation
Assessments using ASME III Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes
Formulating Safety Justifications

Furthermore, the successful candidate will demonstrate;

Desirable Criteria

Experience in the following industry domains;

You will possess excellent Aero Engine/Gas Turbine experience and have already held a Technical Author position or are an experienced Engineer looking to progress into a documentation role.

It is essential that you have experience of the aero engine environment, possibly from working in an overhaul, maintenance or fitter type role. TA experience is preferred, but this can be trained as the technical awareness and understanding is far more important.

* Gas Turbine experience within engine strip, build and overhaul.

My client is a well established organisation based in Derby. The organisations is seeking an experienced and well organised Publications Executive to provide editorial support for publications and web projects. The successful candidate will take a lead on publication projects which require copywriting, editing, proofreading and coordinating of content from various contributors and departments across the organisation. This is a 1 month contact with the possibility of extension to a further 2/3 months.

Required:
* You will have at least 2 years editorial experience (preferably within a marketing role).
* You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills - with the ability to liaise appropriately and effectively with staff at all levels.
* You will be an individual who is highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and can work independently and as part of a team.
* The individual sought possesses an excellent command of written English, including grammar and spelling, with previous detailed experience in editorial roles.
* You will also possess excellent project management skills as the ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously to deadlines is essential.
* You will be able to demonstrate experience of working with design and print teams to implement branding and corporate identity, and a strong knowledge of web content authority is essential.
